Principal's Message

Hello, and welcome to the website of Casino Christian School. I hope that you find our website informative and inviting. 

I would like to highlight the most important things from the beginning: Casino Christian School teaches Biblical/ Christian values, and endeavours to be a Christ-centred school.  Students are taught a high quality education in a caring and nurturing environment. 

There is a strong commitment to the home, the school and the church working together to educate children. We also have a commitment to the training of children to recognize their God-given gifts, talents and natural abilities, and to use and develop them to their full potential. We strive to assist the students to achieve their best in all things. 

Casino Christian School commenced operation in 1995 with 50 plus students, and is situated on three hectares in beautiful countryside north of Casino. In 2011, over 190 students are enrolled from Kindergarten to Year 10. The buildings and grounds allow for the school to cater for well over 200 children. Classrooms are spacious, and Primary rooms have a soundproof withdrawal area for computers and reading. 

The school is a ministry of the Casino Presbyterian Church, and makes all families welcome. It is directed by a School Board and is affiliated with Christian Schools Australia (CSA), which oversees our registration as a school. 

Students take part in a wide range of extra-curricula activities, including sports and competitions against other schools. Students have access to the latest in computer technology selected for its appropriateness in a whole school context. 

Discipline within the school is of a high standard. Discipline is reinforced through compulsory uniform and homework requirements. 

There is an effective home/school relationship, and parents are encouraged to be involved as much as possible in their children’s educational process. Parental assistance in class with reading and individual or small group work is welcomed.
