Staffing Changes for 2024
God is so good! It is with great excitement that we can announce that 2 more teachers have joined us for next year! This will mean even more stability for our Primary classes, and also allows our High School teachers to focus on their speciality subjects more fully in 2024.
Miss Mekah Blackhall will be moving to the area from Victoria over the holidays, and will take on the lead teaching role in Year 6. Miss Blackhall will be supported by Mr Darryl Spriggs who will team teach with Miss Blackhall for literacy and numeracy. Miss Blackhall is passionate about teaching and working with our team here in 2024, and she will be a wonderful addition to our Primary Team. We are grateful to our Lord for prompting her to reach out!
Mr Spriggs, along with being an accredited teacher, will also work as our School Chaplain in the afternoons. Mr Spriggs is an ordained minister, teacher, and is married to our talented Music Tuition Teacher, Mrs Spriggs. We are looking forward to him joining the team next year.
This allows Miss Melanie Young from New Zealand to take on the full time teaching role in Year 3. We are excited to be able to make these changes for these classes, and know that all of our new teachers will be much loved.
This means Mrs Kemsley, Mrs Crowther and Mrs Filmer will be taking some speciality lessons across the Primary. We have also prioritised setting aside time to mentor, grow and develop our new teachers to create a supportive environment for all learners!
Here is the list of classes and teachers;
Kindy – Miss Rachel Goodacre
Year 1 – Mrs Jess Bryant (and Miss Gabby Allen)
Year 2 – Mrs Melissa Livingstone
Year 3 – Miss Melanie Young
Year 4 – Mrs Sharlaine Ranger
Year 5 – Mr Kerry Frahm
Year 6 – Miss Mekah Blackhall & Mr Darryl Spriggs

We are so grateful for God for all his provision and know he has good plans for this Kingdom Work here.
Sincerely,
Mrs Faith Hull
